Hi, my name is D.M. Foley. Yes, that is my pen name. I choose to write under a pen name to give my family a bit of anonymity.
I have always had a strong passion for reading. This led to my love of writing my own stories. It took me a long time to believe in myself enough to publish any of my writing. When I was in my thirties I did publish some of my poetry online at the old poetry . com site. I can no longer find those poems anywhere online. Someday I may publish an anthology of my poems along with poems my deceased brother wrote.
I was 49 when I published my first book baby, The Lyons Garden Book One Family Ties. You are never too old or too young to follow your dreams.
It has been a dream of mine to be an author since I was very young. Accomplishing that dream has been an amazing journey.
